Intro to Graphic Design, SAIC

Winter 2020
The intent of this project was to create three non-narrative designs that work both as a series or as stand alone pieces. The designs are intended to incorporate fundamental design elements including color, texture, shape and form while maintaining unity, utilizing scale and creating balance. Each piece was required to fill an 8”x8” square. Initial design sketches and knit pattern layouts are shown to the left. The final product done with needles and acrylic yarn.
